LIFE TRANSITIONS

POSITIVE CHANGES

Landed a new job?

Had a new baby?

Just got married?

NEGATIVE CHANGES

Lost a job?

Loss of a loved one?

Divorce?

Any kind of change, whether positive, negative or neutral can create stress.

Anytime we transition from one situation to the next, there is loss, letting go of the old, and working to accept something new.  A new homeostasis is trying to establish itself and this can be stressful.

Working with a therapist in a confidential setting can help provide a sounding board to sort through your thoughts and emotions, as well as help to solve challenges new situations bring.

Change can become opportunity with understanding and clarity.

Unwanted changes propose an often difficult challenge to us emotionally and often leaves us in pain.

It is hard to reconcile some of the hardship life brings, and this can throw us into emotional upheaval, grief and sometimes depression.

It is important that you don't suffer alone.  Having a safe person to vent to, share with, and receive emotional support from, can provide a refuge.

A therapist offers non-judgement, patience, and understanding that can help you process and begin to heal.
